Glossolepis cf. multisquamatus
Origin: Mamberamo River, West Papua, Indonesia
Glossolepis cf. multisquamatus, commonly sold as the Millennium Rainbowfish, displays a pinkish-salmon body with a blue-silver sheen in males. Closely related to the Redfin Rainbowfish, it originates from the Mamberamo River system in West Papua. Less commonly available than G. incisus, making it appealing to collectors. Thrives under the same conditions as other Glossolepis and makes a stunning schooling display in large planted tanks.
School of 6+. Temperature 22–28 °C. Slightly alkaline water. Quality varied diet including spirulina-based foods. 180+ L for a proper school. Excellent filtration and oxygenation.
