Pelvicachromis taeniatus 'Moliwe'

Origin: West Africa (Cameroon)
The Moliwe Krib originates from the Moliwe area near the coast of Cameroon and is part of the highly variable Pelvicachromis taeniatus species complex. Care requirements are standard for the species, requiring soft acidic water, caves for breeding, and a well-planted tank. Like all P. taeniatus locales, they are best kept as confirmed pairs.
Water: 24–27°C, pH 5.5–7.0, soft and slightly acidic water recommended. Tank: Minimum 80L with caves, driftwood, and dense planting for shelter. Feeding: Micro pellets, frozen cyclops, brine shrimp, bloodworm, and occasional live foods. Behaviour: Generally peaceful; highly territorial towards own species and related cichlids during spawning. Compatibility: Compatible with small tetras and other surface-dwelling species.
