About
The Gold Mystery Snail is the most iconic and recognizable colour morph of Pomacea bridgesii, displaying a bright yellow-gold shell and matching body pigmentation that creates a vivid, eye-catching accent in any aquarium. Extremely popular in Belgian and Dutch aquarium shops, it is both highly effective at grazing soft algae and completely plant-safe. One of the easiest and most rewarding freshwater invertebrates available.
Care Guide
Maintain calcium-rich water (GH 8+) for healthy shell development. Provide tight-fitting lid to prevent escapes. Supplement diet with algae wafers, blanched zucchini, and cuttlebone. Keep away from copper-based medications.
