About

Microdevario nana is a breathtaking nano fish from clear streams in Thailand and Myanmar, with a near-transparent body carrying a vivid neon yellow-green lateral stripe that glows brilliantly under aquarium lighting. At just 2 cm, it is one of the smallest true fish available in the hobby, yet despite its minute size it is a robust and active schooling species. A school of 15 or more creates a mesmerizing, shimmering display in any planted nano aquarium.

Care Guide

Keep in groups of at least 10–15 in a well-planted nano tank with gentle filtration. Provide fine-leaved plants and gentle flow. Feed small prepared foods: micro-pellets, crushed flake, and tiny frozen foods such as baby brine shrimp nauplii. Avoid large or boisterous tank mates.
