About
Naso lituratus — the Naso or orangespine unicornfish — is a large, elegant tang with orange lips, a sleek body, colourful caudal fin streamers in adults, and distinctive orange peduncle spines. It requires a very large aquarium with abundant open swimming space. Despite its size it is one of the more peaceful tangs, particularly with other tang species. A devoted algae grazer and nutrient export from a well-maintained reef.
