Neocaridina davidi
Origin: Captive-bred (Taiwan/Germany)
The Bloody Mary is one of the most intensely colored Neocaridina davidi morphs, displaying a deep blood-red coloration that penetrates the entire body including musculature and organs—giving even transparency-free, gem-like coloration. Unlike standard Red Cherry Shrimp where coloration varies widely, high-grade Bloody Mary specimens show exceptionally dense, uniform red with minimal or no visible transparency through the shell. They are as hardy and prolific as any standard Neocaridina.
Provide a well-established planted aquarium with stable water chemistry. Feed high-quality shrimp foods, blanched spinach, and biofilm. Keep with peaceful nano fish or invertebrates only. Avoid copper-containing medications. Regular partial water changes maintain health and breeding activity.
