Neocaridina davidi
Origin: Taiwan (captive-bred)
The Orange Rili Shrimp features the distinctive rili pattern with vivid orange coloration on the head and tail regions contrasting with a clear, transparent midsection—creating the appearance of each shrimp wearing a bright orange mask and cape. This bicolor pattern is highly appealing in planted aquariums and particularly striking against green plants. A hardy, prolific Neocaridina that breeds readily in captivity under standard freshwater conditions.
Maintain stable water parameters. Feed shrimp-specific foods, biofilm, and blanched vegetables. Provide dense planting for cover during molting. Keep separate from other morphs to maintain rili pattern purity through selective breeding. Avoid copper medications.
