About
Neolamprologus leleupi, the Lemon Cichlid or Orange Leleupi, is a small but vibrantly coloured elongated cichlid from the deep rocky zones of Lake Tanganyika. Its uniform bright yellow to orange body makes it one of the most eye-catching of all Tanganyikan cichlids. A cave spawner with biparental care.
Care Guide
At least 80 L for a pair. Provide many rocks and caves. Hard, alkaline water essential. Feed quality cichlid pellets and small frozen meaty foods. Aggressive toward the same species; keep a single pair. Can be kept with other Tanganyikan species if the tank is large enough. Excellent spawner in captivity.
