Microrasbora sp. 'Neon Blue' is a captive-bred micro rasbora that produces an intensely vivid neon-blue horizontal band from eye to tail. Whether it represents a true wild species or a developed form, it is extremely popular in the nano aquarium hobby for its brilliant colouration and peaceful temperament.
Water: 20–26 °C, pH 6.0–7.5, soft water preferred (GH 2–10). Tank: 20 L minimum; densely planted with open central area for schooling. Feeding: Micro pellets, Cyclops, baby brine shrimp; readily accepts quality dry food. Behaviour: Peaceful active schooler; keep 10+ for best display. Compatibility: All peaceful nano fish, shrimp, and pygmy corys.
