About
The Orbic Cardinalfish features a silvery body with a bold dark midline band and finely spotted posterior half—similar to but distinguishable from the Pajama Cardinalfish by the finer spotting and overall body proportions. A naturally schooling species from the Indo-Pacific, it adapts readily to captivity and tolerates a wide range of conditions. An excellent, hardy beginner marine fish for peaceful community reef aquariums.
Care Guide
Keep in groups of 3–5 for natural schooling behavior. Feed frozen mysis, enriched brine shrimp, and quality marine flake. Provide ample live rock for shelter. Compatible with all peaceful reef inhabitants. Avoid housing with aggressive predators.
