Oryzias woworae
Origin: Muna Island, Sulawesi, Indonesia
Oryzias woworae, Daisy's Ricefish or the Neon Ricefish, is a recently described species from the Indonesian island of Sulawesi. Males display spectacular neon-blue body colouration with reddish fins. Very peaceful and easy to breed — females carry egg clusters attached to their body before depositing them. Pack of 10.
At least 20 L. Keep in groups; provide floating plants like hornwort for egg attachment. Feeds on flake, micro pellets, baby brine shrimp. Prefer room temperature water without heating in a warm room. Easy to breed — remove egg clusters to a separate tank. Extremely peaceful; safe with all small fish and shrimp.
