Channa bleheri, the Rainbow or Assam Snakehead, is a dwarf snakehead from Northeast India with exceptional red and blue colouration. Reaches only 20 cm — the most aquarium-suitable snakehead. Air-breather — access to surface essential. Legal to keep as aquarium fish.

60 L+ species tank or with large robust fish. Temperature 15–25°C (cool water). pH 6.5–7.5. Covered tank — air breather and can jump. Feed live/frozen foods. One male per tank unless very large.
