About
Osteoglossum bicirrhosum, the Silver Arowana, is a spectacular prehistoric-looking fish with large silver scales, prehistoric mouth and the ability to leap 2+ metres out of water to catch prey. More affordable and easier to keep than Asian Arowana but still requires enormous tanks.

Very large aquarium 1500 L+ for adult. SECURE lid essential — excellent jumper. Temperature 24–30°C, pH 6.0–7.5. Solitary predator. Feed live/frozen fish, large pellets, superworms. Solitary.
