Paracanthurus hepatus (Blue Hippo Tang or Palette Surgeonfish) displays a vivid royal blue body with a bold black 'palette' marking and yellow tail. One of the most popular marine fish, made famous by Finding Nemo.
Care Guide
pH 8.1–8.3, SG 1.025, temp 24–28°C. Highly susceptible to ich — QT mandatory. Needs very large tank with lots of swimming space. Feed Nori, dried seaweed, Mysis.
