About
Pelvicachromis pulcher (Kribensis / Kribs) is a spectacularly coloured West African cave-spawning dwarf cichlid. Females display a vivid purple-red belly spot during breeding. One of the best beginner cichlids for spawning.
Care Guide
pH 6.5–7.5, temp 24–26°C. Provide caves (coconut shells, flowerpot halves). Easy to breed — caves trigger spawning. Male:female 1:1 pairing recommended.
