Amphiprion percula
Origin: Pacific
Amphiprion percula — the true percula clownfish — is distinguished from A. ocellaris by its bold black outlines between the orange and white bars and slightly smaller adult size. It is equally suitable for beginner reef tanks and is widely available as tank-raised specimens. True percula is naturally associated with Heteractis magnifica and Stichodactyla gigantea anemones, but will host in bubble-tip anemones in captivity. A beautiful and peaceful community reef fish.
Light: any. Flow: moderate. Feed: omnivore diet. Keep in pairs. Reef-safe. Very similar care to A. ocellaris.
