Plakat Betta 'HMPK Dragon Scale'

The HMPK Dragon Scale Plakat combines the halfmoon plakat tail spread with the armored dragon-scale body, producing a fish with broad, rounded fins and a spectacular metallic plated appearance. The short plakat tail form is closer to the wild Betta splendens body plan, making this fish a strong swimmer with impressive visual presence. Highly sought after by serious betta collectors for its combination of tail form and body pattern. House one male per tank — males are intensely aggressive with each other.

Minimum 15 L with heater maintaining 24–28°C. pH 6.0–7.5, GH 2–10, KH 0–4. Feed high-quality betta pellets, frozen bloodworm, brine shrimp, and daphnia. One male per tank; can be kept with peaceful, non-fin-nipping companions in larger tanks. Provide a tight-fitting lid. Regular small water changes essential in small tanks.
