About
A fully developed jumbo Platinum Ogon (25–40 cm) with an all-over silver-white metallic body that serves as a centrepiece in a mature, large garden pond. This Hikari Muji show specimen is prized for its mirror-like reflective quality, enhanced by good pond lighting and clear water. At this size it requires substantial pond volume and powerful filtration to maintain ideal water quality.
Care Guide
Minimum 5,000 L mature garden pond. pH 7.0–8.5, GH 5–20, KH 3–12, temperature 5–25°C. Heavy-duty pond filtration essential at this size. Feed quality jumbo koi pellets. Keep with other koi of compatible size; not suitable for ponds with much smaller fish. 20% water changes weekly recommended.
