The Orange Pom Pom Goldfish features prominent fleshy nasal growths (pom poms) and a rounded fancy body with flowing double tail fins. The bright orange coloration contrasts attractively with the pinkish nasal bouquets. This variety requires gentle water flow and compatible, calm tank mates to prevent damage to its delicate pom pom growths and fins.
Minimum 120 L with gentle filtration. pH 7.0–8.0, GH 5–15, KH 3–8, temperature 10–22°C. Feed sinking pellets and soaked gel foods to minimize air ingestion. Low-flow environment to protect pom poms. Keep with other slow-swimming fancy goldfish. 25% weekly water changes to maintain water quality.
