Pomacea bridgesii, the Mystery Snail, is a large, peaceful apple snail that lays eggs above the waterline — making it non-invasive. The blue form has a stunning blue-grey shell and foot. Does not eat live plants. Active, curious snail.
Temperature 20–27°C, pH 7.0–8.0, GH 8+. Provide calcium supplement or cuttlebone for shell. Feeds on algae, dead plant matter and sinking pellets. Lays egg clutches above waterline. Safe with plants.
