Centropyge potteri
Origin: Hawaii
Centropyge potteri is an endemic Hawaiian species rarely seen outside of that archipelago. Its distinctive deep rust-orange body with blue scribble-like line markings is unlike any other Centropyge. It is more sensitive and challenging than most dwarf angels, requiring an extremely mature, stable reef system with abundant natural rockwork for foraging. A prized specimen for advanced marine hobbyists. Wild-collected imports command significant premium prices.
ADVANCED. Mature reef (18+ months). Feed: varied marine angel diet, live rock grazing essential. Very sensitive to parameter instability. Not for beginners.
