Powder Brown Tang Acanthurus japonicus

Acanthurus japonicus — the powder brown or white-faced tang — has a rich brown body with a distinctive white facial marking and vivid orange accents on the dorsal fin. It is a mid-sized tang that is somewhat more delicate than Zebrasoma species and requires pristine water quality and a well-established system. It grazes on macroalgae and film algae. Suitable for experienced reef keepers with large, established systems.
