About

The Orange Crayfish is a selectively bred color morph of Procambarus clarkii displaying a vivid, solid orange coloration that makes it one of the most visually striking freshwater crayfish available. Despite its bold appearance, it is a hardy and adaptable species well-suited to aquarists new to crayfish keeping. As with all Procambarus, house with caution near slow-moving fish and delicate plants which it may destroy.

Care Guide

Minimum 60 L with caves and PVC hiding spots. pH 6.5–8.0, GH 5–20, KH 2–10, temperature 18–28°C. Feed sinking pellets, blanched vegetables, and frozen foods. House alone unless very large tank. Not compatible with ornamental shrimp. Plants may be eaten; choose hardy species or use plastic décor. Regular water changes essential.
