About
Pseudochromis fridmani (Orchid Dottyback) is one of the most vividly coloured small marine fish available, with solid orchid-purple colouration from head to tail. Captive-bred specimens are commonly available and more adaptable than wild-caught.
Care Guide
pH 8.1–8.3, SG 1.025. Moderately aggressive toward similar-sized fish. Provide caves and crevices. Will mimic Gramma loreto (Royal Gramma) for protection. Reef-safe.
