Pseudotropheus demasoni
Origin: Lake Malawi (Pombo Rocks)
Pseudotropheus demasoni is a striking dwarf mbuna with intense blue and black horizontal striping. Highly aggressive despite small size — must be kept in large groups (12+) to distribute aggression effectively. Males and females look identical.
Malawi tank. Keep 12+ individuals. Temperature 24–28°C, pH 7.8–8.5. Rocky biotope. Feed spirulina-based foods. Highly aggressive — needs very large groups to suppress dominant males attacking weaker fish.
