Pterapogon kauderni, the Banggai Cardinalfish, is one of the most distinctive marine fish with bold black and white stripes, large spotted fins and elongated first dorsal rays. Fascinating mouth-brooder. Captive-bred specimens strongly preferred for conservation.
Group of 3+. Temperature 24–27°C. Feed Mysis, small pellets, Artemia. Pairs mouth-brood eggs. Reef safe. Peaceful with most tank mates. Captive bred strongly preferred over wild-caught.
