About
Ptereleotris zebra, the Zebra Dart Goby, is a graceful hovering goby with a pale body covered in fine pink-red vertical bars. School-forming species that hovers in open water above the sandbed. Darts into a burrow if startled — lid required.
Care Guide
Group of 3–5. Sand burrow substrate. Covered aquarium — excellent jumper. Temperature 24–27°C. Feed Mysis, Artemia, small pellets. Very peaceful. Reef safe. Hover schooling behaviour is mesmerising.
