About
Ranchu Goldfish is considered the 'king of goldfish' in Japan. It has a deep rounded body, no dorsal fin, and a prominent wen (head growth) that develops with age. Ranchu are judged in special exhibitions in Japan.
Care Guide
pH 7.0–8.0, temp 10–22°C. No dorsal fin means they swim with characteristic wobble. Sinking food preferred. Do not mix with stronger or faster goldfish varieties.
