The Redspotted Hawkfish (Amblycirrhitus pinos) is a Caribbean species featuring a tan body adorned with distinctive red-orange spots concentrated on the upper body. The only hawkfish found in the Atlantic Ocean, it adapts well to aquarium conditions and is a hardy, long-lived fish. Like other hawkfish, it perches on coral heads and rockwork, darting out to ambush prey. Will eat small ornamental shrimp.
