About
Neopomacentrus cyanomos, the Regal Demoiselle, is a delightful small damselfish with a pale greyish body adorned with a brilliant blue-white neon stripe along the dorsal region and a vivid yellow caudal fin. Widespread across the Indo-Pacific, it is one of the more peaceful damsels, suitable for mixed community reef tanks. Does best in small groups that replicate its natural aggregating behaviour.
Care Guide
Minimum 75 L reef with open swimming space and coral structures. pH 8.1–8.4, salinity 1.020–1.025, temperature 23–28°C. Feed quality flake, frozen mysis, and copepods. More peaceful than most damsels; compatible with a wide range of reef fish. Keep in groups of 5+ for natural behaviour. Reef-safe.
