About
Gramma loreto — the royal gramma or fairy basslet — is a Caribbean reef fish with spectacular bicolour colouration: vivid purple-to-violet anterior half and vivid yellow posterior half with a distinctive black eye stripe. It is extremely hardy, peaceful toward most other fish, and reef-safe. Royal grammas are cave-dwellers and appreciate overhangs and crevices in the aquascape. An excellent choice for small to medium reef tanks.
