Corydoras rabauti

Corydoras rabauti is a medium-sized, warmly coloured species from Brazil and Peru, displaying coppery-rust tones over its body and a faint dark lateral stripe. It is sometimes confused with C. zygatus but can be distinguished by colouration and range. An adaptable species that thrives in most South American community setups.
Water: 22–27°C, pH 6.0–7.2, soft to medium hardness; tolerant of a range of conditions. Tank: 60L+, fine sand substrate, moderate flow, plants and open areas for foraging. Feeding: Sinking wafers, pellets, frozen bloodworm, brine shrimp, and algae tabs. Behaviour: Active, peaceful schooling bottom dweller; keep in groups of 6+. Compatibility: Excellent community fish with most peaceful South American species.
