About
The Ryukin is a round-bodied fancy goldfish originating from Japan, characterised by a pronounced hump behind the head and a spectacular flowing double caudal fin. The red-and-white (Kohaku) pattern is the most classic Ryukin colouration.
Care Guide
pH 7.0–8.0, temp 10–22°C. Cold-water species — does not require a heater in most Belgian homes. High oxygen demand; use air pump or surface agitation. Feed goldfish-specific pellets and vegetables.
