Sahyadria denisonii (formerly Puntius denisonii), the Roseline Shark or Torpedo Barb, is one of the most striking freshwater fish with a blazing red lateral stripe, black-and-yellow tail pattern and torpedo-shaped body. Endemic to fast-flowing Kerala rivers.

School of 5+. Strong flow. Temperature 18–25°C, pH 6.8–7.8. Sensitive to heat above 26°C. Feed high-quality pellets, flakes, and live/frozen foods. Requires well-oxygenated water.
