About
Sciaenochromis fryeri, the Electric Blue Hap or Electric Blue Ahli, is one of the most brilliant Malawi cichlids — males are entirely iridescent electric blue. Peaceful compared to mbuna — suitable for mixed Malawi haplochromine setups. Males need blue LED lighting to fully appreciate.

250 L+ Malawi/hap/peacock tank. Temperature 24–28°C, pH 7.8–8.5. Sandy substrate with open swimming. Feed quality cichlid pellets. Males may be aggressive when spawning — only one adult male.
