Rasbora trilineata

Origin: Southeast Asia (Thailand, Malaysia, Borneo)
Rasbora trilineata is native to the river systems of the Malay Peninsula and Borneo. It is a slender, moderately large rasbora reaching up to 14 cm, with a streamlined silver body and a distinctively patterned forked caudal fin bearing alternating black and white markings that flash as the fish moves. It is a peaceful, constantly active mid-water schooler best kept in groups of six or more in spacious aquaria.
Water: 22–27°C, pH 6.0–7.5, soft to moderate (GH 5–15). Tank: 120 L minimum; wide tank with open mid-water space; moderate current. Feeding: Omnivore; flake, pellets, frozen bloodworm, brine shrimp, and daphnia. Behaviour: Peaceful active schooler; keep in groups of 6+; mid-water swimmer. Compatibility: Excellent with other medium-sized peaceful fish; tetras, barbs, corydoras, and peaceful loaches.
