Corydoras seussi
Also known as: Seuss' Cory
Origin: South America
Corydoras seussi is a rare Peruvian species with an irregular, wavy stripe pattern along its body that gives it a distinctive and almost whimsical appearance. Found in soft-water Amazonian tributaries, it shares its habitats with other softwater cories. Its unusual markings and scarcity in the trade make it a sought-after acquisition.
Water: 22–26°C, pH 6.0–7.2, soft to medium hardness; prefers clean, slightly acidic water. Tank: 60L+, fine sand substrate, moderate flow, plants and driftwood. Feeding: Sinking wafers, quality micro pellets, frozen bloodworm, daphnia, and brine shrimp. Behaviour: Peaceful schooling bottom dweller; groups of 6+ recommended. Compatibility: Good community fish with small to medium peaceful South American species.
