Care Guide
Maintain at 28–31°C with soft, slightly acidic water (pH 6.0–7.0) and low dissolved solids. Perform 25–50% water changes weekly — discus are highly sensitive to accumulated waste. Feed a premium high-protein diet: quality discus granules, beef heart mix, frozen bloodworm, and blackworm. Supplement color-enhancing foods (astaxanthin-rich) to maintain the intense red coloration. Keep in groups of 5+ to distribute natural hierarchical aggression.
