Synchiropus ocellatus (Scooter Blenny/Dragonet) is a charming bottom-dwelling reef fish with beautiful spotted patterns. More adaptable than the Mandarin dragonet — captive-bred specimens often accept frozen copepods and Mysis.

pH 8.1–8.3, SG 1.025. Requires copepod-rich sand bed. Captive-bred specimens recommended as they accept prepared foods more readily. Do not keep with Mandarin or other dragonets.
