Taiwan Bee Blue Dream Shrimp

The Taiwan Bee Blue Dream Shrimp expresses a lighter, softer sky-blue tone compared to the more intensely saturated Blue Bolt, creating a dreamlike, ethereal appearance in the aquarium. Genetically related to Blue Bolt lines but selectively bred for a paler blue expression, these Caridina are equally demanding of water parameters. Soft, acidic, low-TDS water with an active buffering substrate and RO base water is essential. In a well-maintained planted tank with abundant mosses and biofilm, their blue color becomes more vivid and consistent. Supplemental feeding with high-quality shrimp pellets and leaf litter supports colony health and breeding.

Water: pH 5.8–6.8, TDS 80–130 ppm, temperature 20–24°C; strict RO water with Caridina GH+ additive and active substrate. Tank: 30–60 litres; moss-heavy planted tank; sponge filtration.
