About
Caridina cf. cantonensis 'Crystal Black S-Grade' is the black variant of the famous Crystal Red shrimp, displaying black and white banding. The same grading system applies. Care requirements are identical to Crystal Red shrimp — soft, acidic, cool water with RO base. Black variant genes are separate from red and the two colour forms cross readily. Stunning in planted nano tanks with a dark substrate.
