About
Caridina cf. cantonensis 'Crystal Red S-Grade' has vivid red and white banding patterns graded from A to SSS by percentage of white coverage. S-grade specimens have approximately 50% white coverage with clean colour borders. Crystal Red shrimp require soft, acidic, mineral-poor water (total hardness 4–6 GH) and are significantly more demanding than Neocaridina shrimp. RO water with shrimp-specific remineraliser is recommended.

pH 5.8–6.8. Very soft water (GH 4–6, KH 0–1). 30+ L nano. RO water + shrimp remineraliser. Temperature: 20–24°C. Feed: shrimp foods, biofilm, algae. No ammonia/nitrite tolerance.
