Telmatochromis vittatus is a small, rock-dwelling cichlid from Lake Tanganyika with bold horizontal stripes. Relatively peaceful for a Tanganyika cichlid and an excellent addition to Tanganyika community tanks.
Care Guide
pH 7.8–9.0, temp 24–28°C, hard alkaline water. Provide extensive rock piles. Will breed in crevices. Cave spawner — provide rock caves and small flowerpots.
