The Thai Oranda Super Red is a premium-grade Oranda goldfish bred in Thailand specifically for intensely vivid, deep red coloration that saturates the entire body and fins. Thai breeders have developed superior bloodlines characterized by full, symmetrical wen growth (the characteristic head cap), excellent fin development, and remarkable depth of color. A showpiece fish for the serious fancy goldfish keeper who appreciates the finest captive strains.
Care Guide
Maintain in a well-filtered, spacious aquarium with excellent water quality. Fancy goldfish are high-waste producers — robust biological filtration and 20–30% weekly water changes are essential. Feed a quality sinking fancy goldfish diet to reduce swim bladder issues. Keep with other fancy goldfish of similar size and swimming ability. No sharp decorations that may damage the delicate wen or fins. Minimum 150 L for a single fish.
