Xenotilapia ochrogenys is a sand-dwelling Tanganyika cichlid with graceful elongated fins and subtle but beautiful colouration. A mouthbrooder that forms pair bonds and practices biparental mouthbrooding.
Care Guide
pH 7.8–8.5, temp 24–28°C. Deep sand substrate (8cm+) required. Provide open sand areas for natural digging behaviour. Feed sinking micro-foods and small frozen items.
