Zebrasoma flavescens (Yellow Tang) is one of the most popular and recognisable marine fish. The uniform vivid yellow colouration and disc-like body shape make it instantly recognisable. Captive-bred specimens from Hawaii are increasingly available.
Care Guide
pH 8.1–8.3, SG 1.025, temp 24–28°C. Feed daily with Nori seaweed clipped to tank glass. Hardy and long-lived. May be aggressive toward other yellow fish.
