ADA Willow Moss Cube

A sterile tissue culture cube of classic Willow Moss (Fontinalis antipyretica) from ADA, delivered pest-free and algae-spore-free directly from tissue culture. The fine, feathery, dark green fronds attach readily to rockwork and driftwood and provide dense, natural-looking cover that serves as excellent spawning habitat and fry refuge in biotope-style planted aquariums. Fontinalis is a native European moss that thrives in cooler to moderate temperatures, making it particularly suitable for cold-water and temperate setups.

Rinse gel from tissue culture portions before use. Attach to hardscape using fine cotton thread, rubber bands, or aquarium-safe gel. Low light is fully sufficient. No CO₂ required — but modest CO₂ supplementation accelerates growth. Thrives at 15–24°C; performs well in both tropical and cold-water setups. Trim regularly to maintain desired shape and prevent it from smothering neighbouring plants.
