Anubias barteri var. nana is one of the most popular aquarium plants in the world. Glossy, dark green rounded leaves on a spreading rhizome. Attaches to rock or driftwood. Virtually indestructible — thrives in low light, no CO2, and tolerates neglect.
Low to medium light. Tie to rock or driftwood with thread — do NOT bury rhizome in substrate. Temperature 20–30°C, pH 6.0–8.0. Does not need CO2 or fertiliser. Grows very slowly.
