Anubias barteri var. caladiifolia
Origin: West Africa
Anubias barteri var. caladiifolia features unusually large, caladium-like heart-shaped leaves that create a dramatic tropical accent in any aquascape. This slow-growing epiphyte thrives when tied to driftwood or rock and requires no CO2 supplementation. Its broad leaves provide excellent refuge for small fish and shrimp.
Attach rhizome to hardscape; burying the rhizome causes rot. Low light 0.3–0.8 W/L is sufficient. Does not require CO2. Fertilise substrate or water column with macros and micros. Trim old or yellowing leaves at the stem. Propagate by rhizome division, leaving at least 3 leaves per cutting.
