Anubias nana Gold

Anubias barteri var. nana 'Gold' is a stunning cultivar of the classic Anubias nana with vivid golden-yellow leaves. The yellow colouration intensifies under strong lighting and develops a pleasing green-to-gold gradient at lower intensities. Like all Anubias, it is extremely hardy, grows slowly, and can be tied to hardscape without being planted in substrate. An outstanding accent plant for aquascapes, particularly effective against dark backgrounds and wood.

Tie rhizome to wood or rock — never bury the rhizome. Low to medium light sufficient; golden colour intensifies under moderate light (bright light may burn leaves). Temperature 22–28 °C. No CO2 required. Feed with liquid micro-fertiliser. Very slow-growing.
